Aconcept Beauty: How to Master Styling Natural Hair

Índice

A while back, I wrote an article about the various training programs available for natural hair care and styling (http://news.zenaba.fr/Les-ecoles-de-Coiffure-Afro). I revisited the topic to check for new developments and came across Aconcept Beauty's Facebook page, created by a young woman named Awo.

What is its concept?

Well, it's very simple! Awo trains individuals and professionals in learning Afro hairstyling in Paris. Her students discover or rediscover kinky hair through the care it needs, how to style kinky hair in its natural state, and with extensions.

She also dedicates workshops to parents who wish to take care of their toddlers' hair.

Awo, a hair enthusiast...

Aconcept beauty... This association was founded in 2012. Awo observes that in France, beauty rituals are not the same as those that shaped her childhood in Africa, more precisely in Togo and Benin.

Back home, beauty is not just an individual matter; there are mothers, sisters, cousins... "Every weekend is dedicated to hair and body care," a moment for sharing knowledge... Awo inherited this knowledge and feels the need to share it with those around her who want it.

As a student, she helped her family and friends who didn't want to relax their children's hair, as well as parents of mixed-race children. She then put her passion to work for other associations, before the creation of Aconcept Beauty.

Everyone can learn Afro hairstyling...

Many teenagers, more or less comfortable with their hair, contact Awo to get information, learn "Best Practices," and stop wanting to conform absolutely to the erroneous image of society reflected by the media on repeat, for better self-acceptance.

CAP graduates do not receive adequate training on kinky hair (It's unfortunate!!!), so they are forced to train elsewhere to be able to satisfy a portion of their salon's clientele.

And if you just want to learn how to style kinky hair, Awo welcomes you with open arms, just like the owner of the blog "le boudoir de Maïrah"! You can find her opinion on the training at the following link: http://leboudoirdemaïrah.com/ma-formation-coiffures-afro-reconciliation-avec-mes-cheveux/

She created her own cosmetic line

A logical follow-up to the concept, Awo created a cosmetic product line that directly stems from the needs of her students, the parents she advises, and members who come for hair care advice. 100% natural products, manufactured or packaged by certified manufacturers. You can find the products on her website: http://www.aconceptbeauty.com/boutique.html
